Miscreant Anthology Due Summer, 2026
I am really excited to be included in the inaugural Miscreant Anthology (writing as “Gary J. Freeshell”). This collection brings together underground comics, fiction, poetry, art, photography, essays, and more. Check Miscreant Media for availability in paperback and digital download.
From Miscreant Media:
“One of the largest creator-driven indie anthologies of its kind ever assembled. Born from old zine roots, raw and unfiltered. …One epic book, one masterful collective, one monument to the indie underground.”
Coming Soon! The Itinerant by Hixson Pyke
Moonday Mag is slated to publish my historical horror story, The Itinerant, in January. The story follows an eighteenth-century circuit rider through the outlands of the Appalachian frontier as he fights an infection that slowly deteriorates his mind, unsure if the thing pursuing him through the wilderness is real or imagined.
